【个人感想】

在去年偶然听到插排姐的好运宝贝就觉得很好听，然后在一个歌荒的午后点进了插排姐的《The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess》，瞬间爱上这张完美融合了复古与未来感的专辑。

其实一开始只听粉马和红色超新星这样的快歌（插一嘴格莱美粉马是插排最好的现场），但在听完《Picture You》后直接引发了我的强烈共鸣，也让我看到了插排在drama queen身份背后的那个脆弱的小女孩。

歌曲开头以渐出的混响吉他和琶音营造了一种漂浮感，也暗示了这首歌的主题---幻想与回忆。插排姐在这首歌中描述了她在单向暗恋中通过幻想来逃避现实，甚至享受这种自我麻醉的过程。

歌曲副歌部分的三连问是我觉得整歌最好的部分。明知不该爱却爱却无法自拔。过去也常常臆想与喜欢的直男--，这首歌可以说是完美反映了当时的心境了。

最后再推荐这张专辑《The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess》，像kaleidoscope(万花筒)，用万花筒比喻同性感情中模糊的界限；Coffee等慢歌都很推荐。快歌很好入耳，慢歌适合慢慢欣赏。
